Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police tell ABC 13 the suspect in the multiple bomb threats this week is in police custody.

Police arrested Dexter Scott White, 43, from Lynchburg Thursday.

UPDATE (1pm): The Lynchburg Police Department has released a statement saying that no immediate threat to the community has been identified and all school locations are operating normally.

The police department is working closely with the Lynchburg City School system in their investigative response.

We have confirmed that Laurel Regional School also received a bomb threat this morning.

UPDATE: Sundusky Elementary School has also received a bomb threat this morning. 


UPDATE: Three more schools have received threats this morning.  Dearington Elementary, T.C. Miller Elementary, and R.S. Payne Elementary have all reporterd recieving threats.

Lynchburg, VA - More bomb threats have been reported in Lynchburg this morning.  According to police, Dunbar, Linkhorne, and Sandusky Middle Schools have all received bomb threats.  In addition, Lynchburg General Hospital has also received a threat.
